Information we collect

We collect an email address and alert preference when you create an opportunity alert. For member accounts, we record the stable account identifier and email provided by sign-in, your chosen plan, payment references, access periods and member shortlist. Listing and advertising enquiries include the organisation and contact details needed to respond and verify the request.

How we use it

We use alert and membership data to deliver requested updates, manage access and communicate about the selected service. Submission data is used to assess and contact the submitting organisation. We do not sell applicant or subscriber information.

Account sign-in

When email sign-in is enabled, Supabase verifies your email address using a one-time code. Secure cookies keep you signed in; browser scripts cannot read these cookies. We retain a stable account identifier and verified email to manage your membership. Existing members can explicitly link their previous ChatGPT sign-in after proving access to both accounts. Linking preserves payment references and membership dates. We also temporarily store hashed email and network identifiers to limit sign-in abuse.

Payments

When card checkout is active, individual membership payments are completed on the approved payment provider’s secure checkout. Caribbean Opportunity Radar does not collect or store complete card numbers or security codes. The provider’s privacy terms apply to payment processing.

Device-only data

The free public search saves opportunities locally in your browser. The member workspace stores a separate shortlist in your account so it is available across devices. Signing in does not import device-only saves.

Applications take place on third-party official websites. Their privacy practices apply once you leave this site.
